Hi. I’m Laila. (she/her)

Practice Owner & Nutrition Therapist

MS, RDN, LDN, CEDS

I’m a Palestinian-American Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist based out of Boston, Massachusetts who spent so many precious years of my life and nutrition education asking the question, “Should eating really be this hard?” Throughout my deep-dive into the non-diet and eating disorder worlds I kept arriving to the same answer: no. Eating should be easy.

I love the world of science and nutrition. I love cooking. I love baking. I love the messy, complex nature of how and why humans eat. That’s why I got my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Framingham State University, and my Master of Science in Nutrition Education from Eastern Illinois University.

For the following few years, I worked in higher levels of eating disorder care, sharpening my clinical skills and reinforcing my passions for working with those struggling with EDs.

I may have years of formal education under my belt, but what I will never presume to know is how you “should eat.”

I love helping people find an eating pattern that suits their needs, wants, and circumstances. I practice with a Health at Every Size® framework that allows you to explore your health values regardless of your body size. I believe in the right to make a home out of your body at any size.

Whether you need guidance on making peace with food or lowering your cholesterol, I’m your gal.
